Google Virtual Tours: An Example

As reported previously (see November 21, 2012 article “Glacial Multimedia’s Collaboration with Google Trusted Photographers to provide Google Virtual Tours”), Glacial has partnered with Google Trusted Photographers to provide Google Virtual Tours. The premise is simple – Google extends their “Street View” from the street and directly into the interior of a business providing a 360 degree tour of the business for potential clients to view and walk through virtually.

Recently Glacial’s Local Search Director Darryl Quinlan was privileged to witness the creation of a virtual tour for Clear Advantage Laser Vision Correction Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. “Watching the methodical work of the Google Trusted Photographer I now understand completely how beneficial a tour like this can be. A prospective patient can view every nook and cranny of an office and see exactly what they will be stepping into when they get there – from the front door to the lasers themselves.”
